  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Screen Fields

In stand-alone installations of Time & Expense, use this screen to enter, view, or update basic information for UDT07.

Basic Information Fields

If your version of Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint, all fields except for the Active check box are display-only and are maintained directly within Costpoint.

Field Description
UDT07

This field is editable only for stand-alone installations of Time & Expense.

Enter a 20-character, uppercase alphanumeric UDT07 code. Each code must be unique.  

Note: The number of characters you enter cannot exceed the size set up in the General Settings, UDT Labels subtask for UDT07.
Description

This field is editable only for stand-alone installations of Time & Expense.

Enter up to 30 characters for a UDT07 description. You should make descriptions as short as possible and properly capitalize them because they are used in drop-downs, Lookups, and as column headings for reports and inquiries.

Costpoint Company

This field is editable only for stand-alone installations of Time & Expense.

Click to select a costpoint company. This lookup is enabled only if you selected the Costpoint Multicompany check box in the Miscellaneous tab of the General Settings screen. See Concept Topic: Costpoint Multicompany for details on this feature.

If the field displays, use the drop-down to select the Costpoint company that you wish to associate with this UDT07. For a new UDT07, the first Costpoint company in the list is the default value. For an existing UDT07 record, the Costpoint Company field is non-editable.

Company Name This field displays the name of the selected Costpoint company.
Active

Select this check box if the UDT07 is active.

Override

This section does not display in co-deployed installations.

This section displays if you are calculating one or both of the rate fields. This is based on the Use and Label values in the User-Defined Rates group box in the Miscellaneous tab of the Time Settings screen. See Concept Topic: Labor Costing for more detail.

Field Description
Rate 1

Enter the rate 1 rate that you wish to use for this UDT07. This field is available if you are calculating Rate 1. The range is -99999999.99999 to 99999999.99999.

Rate 2

Enter the rate 2 rate that you wish to use for this UDT07. This field is available if you are calculating Rate 2. The range is -99999999.99999 to 99999999.99999.
